PASSPORT TO PARIS

Hey Dolls,
Today I have a little bit of a different post to share with you (I apologise for the length of it in advance).
If you follow me on my Instagram page (aliciaamyjones) then you will already know that for my 21st birthday a couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to go to PARIS with my lovely boyfriend for a long weekend. I have wanted to go to Paris forever and it just seemed like the perfect time to book a trip.

So on this blogpost I am just going to share with you a little bit of what I got up to whilst I was there!
So, when we first arrived I just could not wait to get to the Eiffel Tower. We arrived in the afternoon, and everybody had told me previously to go to the Eiffel Tower at night time as it is so much prettier - We got to see it in the day and the night and I definitely agree with others. It looks magical at night time with all of the lights!
With being here for the first time I thought it was only right if we went to the top of the tower - Being terrified of heights I do not really know why I decided to but I thought I would brave it! The views from the top were absolutely spectacular - The pictures just do not do it justice. If you are ever in Paris I recommend doing this 100% but if you are like me and are petrified of heights just remember; look out not down!

As we were only there for 5 days and I had SO much that I wanted to see we had to squeeze a lot into one day. On our first full day, we went to the Arc De Triomphe and the Louvre Museum.
The landmark was stunning but it is safe to say I would not like to drive around the roundabout; You just drive anywhere and hope for the best - Talk about crazy!
Once again we decided to walk to the top (I wanted to see a view of the city that had the Eiffel Tower in it) However, unlike the Eiffel Tower where there is a lift to take you to the top, this one is all a swirly stair case - Safe to say I was tired and dizzy by the time I got to the top - But it was definitely worth it!
And at night time ..

The louvre I just wanted to go to because I think the building and the gardens that surround it are beautiful; however my boyfriend had different ideas. As he is interested in art, he made me walk around the entire museum! The art work inside is so skilled and it was amazing to see, but I did manage to get bored, QUICKLY!
Next to see on my list of places to visit was the love lock bridge. Yes I really am that cringey that I made my boyfriend attach a lock to it with me! I think it is such a cute thing to do when visiting the city and I really could not get over how many locks were there!

Now I have probably bored you to tears with all of this, but now I have showed you the main Paris landmarks I am just going to put some pictures up of the other places we visited along the way; I am not going talk about them (Much)..
The Notre Dame.

Luxembourg Gardens.

Galeries Lafayette shopping centre and The Champs Ellysee. This was literally what I could imagine a fashion bloggers heaven looking like - it was insane! And of course I found a Topshop, a zara and a MAC. Also, who can have a shopping trip in Paris with macaroons?!

The Montparnasse Tower. Please excuse the poor quality photos, we went on the one night it was extremely foggy and could barely see a thing!

 The Fountains.

If you are planning a trip to Paris I recommend visiting every one of these places if you have the time as they are all so beautiful.

I really hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know if you did, as I also visited Disneyland whilst there and I am thinking of doing another post on that to share with you all :)
