Hi Everyone!
I realise this post is a little late and I really wanted to get it up before New Years, but I feel like I have not been at home much recently as I have been visiting family and friends. So, I do apologise and I hope you understand, I just wanted to make sure I had all of my presents together to show you! Also, we are still in the 12 days of Christmas, so thats okay right?

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! It is my favourite time of the year and I enjoyed every moment of it. Eating, drinking, sleeping, getting spoilt and being surrounded with amazing company, what is not to love?! It just seems to have gone by so quickly and I can't quite believe it is over for another year! The build up to it goes on forever and it is over in a flash - Boooo!
Over the last few days I have seen so many of these 'What I got for Christmas' posts floating about, and I thought I would take part myself! I love seeing what other people got for Christmas (I'm nosy like that) and usually after reading or watching these I have a list as long as my arm for things I want to buy!

Just as a disclaimer, I would like to say I am not at all bragging about my presents in this post. I did not write a list and hand it out asking for these, I am very lucky for what I received, I was not expecting them at all and I am so grateful for all the wonderful gifts I was given!

Since I started doing my blog I have always said I wanted to purchase a new professional camera as my previous camera was very old so the picture quality was not very high. When I got to my boyfriends house on Christmas day and opened this beauty I was so surprised - The boy did well! Every year we say we are putting a limit on how much we spend on each other but somehow we always get a bit too carried away - However, I did not expect something so generous! It is the perfect little Digital SLR for beginners which is great for me as I am not great with technology, so the simpler the better! I have used it so much already trying to get used to the different settings and modes to see which ones work best for blog pictures and so far so good. I absolutely LOVE it! This is going to help me massively with my blog in the new year and hopefully this will now encourage me more to go and do pictures so I can get into a routine of posting at least once week. Fingers crossed!

AHHHH! I CANNOT CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT GUYS! BEEP BEEP BEEP - WATCH OUT, ALICIA COMING THROUGH (STAY OFF THE ROADS). I am FINALLY having driving lessons! My mum is THE BEST. When I turned 17 driving was something that never really bothered me, as I lived right in the town so everything was in walking distance, and to be honest at that age I preferred spending all my money on clothes and make-up rather than wanting to save for a car. However, now at 21 I feel I need a bit more freedom! I hate having to rely on people for lifts when I need to go somewhere, it would be so much easier to just be able to jump in my own car and go at my own leisure and I can't wait to do this! I am  little nervous as the first time I ever got behind the wheel of a car with my mum I drove her car into a ditch, but after 4 years I think I might have improved - I hope!

Look how beautiful. If a mermaid was a straightener - this is the straightener they would be! I was walking through town with my mum a few months before christmas when I spotted these in one of the hairdressers windows - I was mesmerised! I never in a million years thought my mum would go back the day after and get them for me as I do already have a pair of GHD's. These ones are just so much prettier! I do straighten my hair nearly everyday (Awful I know - Slap on the wrist) so I like to have a good quality straightener that I know will last me years, and these are perfect!

Okay guys, lets just take a mini moment to appreciate how amazing this watch is....
Right then, for the past few months I have been dropping hints about Olivia Burton watches and how beautiful they are, and after thinking my boyfriend doesn't listen to me half the time because I ramble on about rubbish A LOT, this just proves that he actually does! I don't think it has left my wrist since I opened it. Last year I got a Michael Kors watch for Christmas, which I still adore but I didn't like wearing it on a daily basis because it was getting scratched. I think this one is much more practical for everyday wear and looks super pretty. I love the blue leather strap and the 'Big Dial' style is definitely my favourite from the Olivia Burton range.

As a beauty blogger you can imagine my excitement when I unwrapped these on Christmas day! MAC is the one company that the majority of my money goes to - I am slightly obsessed. I can sit online for hours adding things to my basket until it reaches a catastrophic amount, then just laughing/crying and closing the screen down. I need to win the lottery so I can just own everything on there! These brushes I had been lusting over for ages. They were from the MAC holiday 'objects of affection' range and had been sold out pretty much since they were released. I am so grateful to my boyfriend for finding them for me! I love having good make-up brushes, as I find they really make all the difference to an overall make-up application and look as brush strokes and lines are not visible. The other make-up bits I bought myself with my Christmas money off my Nan and Granddad. I needed a new blusher so decided to try one from the mineralise collection. The powder is the studio fix powder plus, which is a product I could not be without - I use it everyday! Lastly I treated myself to the Clinique bottom lash mascara, as I have heard so many good reviews about it I thought I'd give it a try!

The Christmas essentials which I am sure everyone receives every year - Pyjamas! These tiger ones are from Avon and are so super soft and comfy! They are tightly fitted around the ankles which I love as well because they do not get twisted when I roll over in bed. New slippers are always a great gift for me because I always seem to have really cold feet. My mum got me these penguin ones and I am obsessed - PENGUINS WEARING EARMUFFS - ADORABLE! I also now have a new addition to my teddy bear collection - OLAF. Olaf is my favourite thing ever, if I could have him as a best friend I would! I think my boyfriend regrets getting it for me now though as I keep running round the house with it quoting sentences from the film in my best Olaf voice! 'Hi everyone I'm Olaf, and I like warm hugs'.

These clothes are also some other items I treated myself to with Christmas money. I like buying things in outfits, so I got a skirt, a top and a jacket - And it is a monochrome outfit of course! The skirt and top are both from Topshop and look so lovely together - Stay tuned for a blog I will be doing soon on them! The jacket I got from River Island. I love leather jackets for the warmer winter day, as they are so good for layering and I was in desperate need for another one so I gave in and treated myself.
IT'S SO FLUFFY I'M GUNNA DIE! (Despicable Me moment). I know, I know, I am a bit late with jumping on the fluffy clutch bag bandwagon, but better late than never! I have wanted this roll-top clutch bag from topshop for as long as I can remember - it is AMAZING. I just find myself randomly stroking it when it is next to me because it is so soft and fluffy! The bag was never available in my local topshop store, so when my boyfriend went to visit family in Newcastle just a couple of days before Christmas, he dragged his sister around the Metro centre in order to find this for me. Props for braving the shopping centre that close to Christmas! It is a great size and adds that final touch to any outfit!

Has anyone else stocked up on this now for the year?! What a beautiful smell. To tell you the truth - I was a 'Snow Fairy Virgin' up until Christmas. I had seen so many people talking about this product on Instagram that I just had to try it as I love Lush items. I was chuffed to bits to receive this gift! I cannot describe how amazing it smells - If you have not tried it before, definitely get your hands on it next Christmas! This gift set included the snow fairy shower gel, the snow fairy magic wand, the snow fairy sparkle massage bar and the godmother soap. Unfortunately this scent is only available in the Christmas period - Booo! Now I have the perfect excuse to go and run a bath and relax!

I don't know anyone that wouldn't love to receive a yankee candle as a gift. Candles are a great present for anyone, especially Yankee Candles - You can't go wrong with them! All of them smell amazing! Cranberry pear was released new for this year and it is to die for - go and buy it right now if you have not tried it! Because I love every scent of yankee candle but they are quite expensive I got something a little different so I could try more of a variety of smells for a reasonable price. These ones I got are 'Yankee wax tarts' and they are used in a melt/wax burner. So basically, you place an unscented tea light at the bottom of the burner and put the tart of your choice in the holder at the top. The heat from the tea light then melts the wax tart and releases the scent. They burn for hours and the smell lasts for ages and fills the room! The burner I got off amazon for about £7 and each wax tart is roughly £1.50. So you can try loads of different scents rather than spending £20 on just one candle. Such a perfect idea!
As you can see I received some of the most amazing gifts and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Comment below some of your favourite Christmas presents you received!
