Whenever I am searching the internet, one thing that I seem to see a lot of, especially in the blogging and youtube community, is 'tag' posts.
There are so many tags out there now that have been created and one that I have come across recently is the 'beauty tag'. Since this is a beauty blog and I have not done a tag in forever, I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and tag myself to join in..Is that cheating?!
I believe that there are actually a few different versions of the beauty tag online, and each of them are made up of a variety of different questions. I looked through a couple of them and this one I have chosen to do is the one that I personally thought had the best choice of questions, that would fit perfectly with my blog.

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
Even though I am obsessed with playing about in my eyeshadow collection to try creating different eye make-up looks, I actually do not like wearing a lot of product on my eyes on a daily basis, so I would have to say that I would rather lose all of my palettes and eyeshadows. I think I would genuinely cry if I lost all of my lipsticks, especially my beloved Christian Louboutin one!
Also, my eyeshadow and palette collection is not half as big as my lipstick collection, so I do not think it would cost me as much to replace!

Would you rather chop off all of your hair or never be able to cut it again?
When I was 11 years old I used to be able to sit on my hair it was that long, and one day I randomly asked my mum to cut it up to my shoulders (I am pretty sure she cried whilst doing it). I instantly regretted it and since then it has taken me years to grow it to the length it is now. Because of the amount of bleach and heat I have exposed my hair to over the years, it just does not grow much at all! I know that they say if you want to grow your hair the best thing to do is to cut it regularly, but that does not seem to work for me and honestly I have not cut my hair properly for about 2 years, maybe longer (kinda gross, I know). So, I would choose to never be able to cut my hair again - having a bob haircut was unflattering enough for me, never mind having no hair at all!

Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
The cheek colour I decide to wear always depends on what kind of make-up look I am wearing, as I like everything to somewhat match. These days I find I do sway more towards a coral cheek than a pink cheek though - peaches from MAC is one of my all time favourite blushes as it is quite a subtle peachy-coral and I feel that it compliments my skin tone.

If you had £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or make-up?
Can I not have £500 for each department?! If someone asked me this question a couple of years ago (back when I worked for Topshop), I would of said clothes without even a second thought, but now I would answer with make-up every time. I have noticed so much how my passion has changed again recently and I am such a make-up and beauty enthusiast. Since I was 16 I have always dreamt of becoming a make-up artist and that is still something which I wish to pursue, so if I had £1000 to spend to build up a make-up kit, it would certainly help out a lot! Also, in all honesty I do not have a good enough social life to feel the need to spend that much money on clothes..I practically live in my pyjamas!

Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
I thought a lot about this question and I think I would choose to apply lipstick as eyeliner. I would just simply take a small angled definer brush, get some product on it and line my eyes carefully. Think of how many different colour choices you would have if you used lipstick as eyeliner! I also do not think eyeliner would feel the nicest texture on the lips, and it possibly wouldn't be that good for them either.

Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
Hands down, one eyeshadow! As long as I have a neutral crease shade to put on my lid to add some definition I will be happy. I would hate nothing more than to be restricted to just one lip colour for many reasons. Number one, one lip colour would not match every eye make-up look you do, whereas if you have a neutral eye you can pair any lip colour you want with it. Number two, a lip colour can completely change your mood. Number three, the colour of a lipstick can change up a make-up look so much. Number four, using different lip colours can help create make-up looks to adapt to the season or the time of year. Seriously the list is endless. How could us beauty enthusiasts manage with just one lip colour?!

Would you rather be forced to shop at only MAC or Sephora for the rest of your life?
This is a very tricky question and it is probably the one I am finding hardest to answer so far. As much as I feel like I want to say MAC, I think I would have to go for Sephora (but then the thought of never having a MAC lipstick again or never being able to shop their collections makes me so sad)! The main reason I would pick Sephora is because of the variety of brands that they stock..I am not sure I would cope too well if I was restricted to just buying all of my make-up from one brand for the rest of my life. Which would you guys choose? It's a tough one!

Would you rather wear winter clothes in the summer or summer clothes in the winter?
I hate nothing more than being cold. As I am writing this now I am wearing two pairs of joggers, fluffy socks, slippers, a t-shirt, a jumper, I have 2 duvets over me and I am snuggling a hot water bottle...I do not like the cold! So 100 percent I would rather wear winter clothes in the summer, I may turn into a sweaty mess, but I would definitely rather be too hot than too cold..A sweaty mess over a snowman any day thank you!

Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year around?
Bright nails, always! Painting my nails is not something that I do very often but when I do it is always between a nude or a bright colour. I could never imagine wearing dark or black varnish in the summer, where as I would totally rock bright red nails at Christmas!

Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?
I think we have all established by now that lip products in general are my favourites when it comes to make-up, so I would have to give up my favourite eye product. But then how would I get my winged eyeliner on fleek without my Charlotte Tilbury feline flick pen?! Oh, the struggles!

Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
More recently I have started wearing my hair in a messy bun pretty much every day..I am going through this phase of only washing my hair twice a week and not straightening it because I want to grow and if I tie it all back it definitely stops the temptation of getting the straighteners on it! My hair is at a length now that when it is in a ponytail, it just annoys me because of the way that it hangs down (its weird to explain), so I would much rather chuck it up in a messy bun everyday so it is completely out of the way. Plus messy buns are quite a cute, chic hairstyle these days, right?

Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
I am not really an avid user of lipgloss at all. I do not like the way it feels on the lips, it always seems to have a sticky residue which I hate, and honestly a matte finish just seems to suit me better, so I never like to add gloss. I think I could sacrifice never using lipgloss again and it would not be an issue for me in the slightest. However, I could never imagine going the rest of my life without being able to paint nails again, (not that I paint them regularly, I tend to get falsies). A good manicure can completely change the way you feel and it just completes an overall look.

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
I was hoping to avoid a question about the brows! As hard as this question is, I think  would choose to sharpie them in everyday. I mean, can you imagine walking around with no eyebrows at all? That would be scary! If you take a sharpie and use an extremely light hand, then it could possibly work, could it? Oh dear, if this was a real life circumstance and we all had to choose one, we'd all be screwed!

Would you rather live without make-up or nail polish?
Nail polish..I didn't even have to think about that one!

Would you rather throw away your entire make-up collection or your entire skincare collection?
Oooh this is a difficult one. On one hand, the way your make-up wears and looks on your face is primarily down to skincare, but could I really throw away my entire make-up collection? Definitely not! I would choose to throw away my entire skincare collection, because honestly my skincare is so cheap and simple that it would not be chucking away anything of much value. Also, I am currently wanting to invest in all new skincare, so if I got rid of all of my old stuff maybe it would give me the push I need to go and purchase new products!

That is all of the questions from this beauty tag but I did find one more question that I actually wanted to ask you guys, to get you involved as well..
"Would you rather have very dry skin that you cannot ever moisturise or have very oily skin that you cannot ever blot?"
I saw this question on a different beauty tag edition and I was quite intrigued to see what peoples thoughts were, so I am asking you and I would love it if you left your responses in the comments section below so we can have a discussion about it!
I also tag anyone else reading this who enjoyed this post to join in and do it is so much fun!

Thank you all so much for reading. Do not forget to follow me on Bloglovin' to make sure you do not miss out on any future posts, and in that case, I will speak to you soon.
