I am sure it will come as no surprise to you all when I admit that 'I am a makeup and beauty addict'..It is not exactly breaking news, I know.
I first started getting into everything beauty related when I was about 13 years old, and when I left school at 16 I decided to go to college to qualify as a beautician in the hope to turn my passion into my job one day. Since then my affection for everything beauty has continued to grow, and now even though it is not technically my job, it is my hobby, my passion, and in general just what I love doing. You will often find me either in the makeup aisles in boots or browsing online beauty websites, on the hunt for my next purchases that I can add to my forever growing collection. Sound Familiar? Well, I have put together a list of 35 telltale signs that you may also be able to relate to, which will reveal wether or not you yourself are in fact a fully-fledged beauty addict.

You can name the majority of the MAC lipsticks at the counter without even picking them up.
You may have 50 Nude lipsticks in your collection which are all quite similar, but no two are ever the same!
You have more storage in your bedroom for beauty products than you have for clothes.
You own more makeup brushes than some artists own paintbrushes.
It is quite likely that you know more about makeup than the Sales Advisor behind the counter.
You can never just 'pop in' to your local Boots.
You have enough beauty products to be able to stock your own small store.
There is no such thing as owning 'too much' makeup, regardless of what your mum or boyfriend says.
You will live off beans on toast for a month, just so you can afford to buy the latest palette.
If you accidentally drop a product and it breaks, it is basically like a death in the family.
You own multiple back up products.
When you book a trip abroad, one of the first things you do is check to see where the nearest Sephora is.
..And then you write a list of everything you want to buy from there.
All of your beauty products are ESSENTIAL.
You no longer watch TV - it is all about YouTube tutorials.
Your online browser consists of Cult Beauty, Beauty Bay, Sephora, Space NK, Boots etc.
When something you want goes out of stock multiple times, the devil inside you is released.
You will set reminders for new product releases and will constantly check the website to make sure you do not miss when it goes live.
..And if you do miss it, and it sells out before you get chance to finalise your purchase, everybody better stay away from you for at least 48 hours, for their own safety.
When a friend ask you if they can borrow a lipstick, you drown them in options.
You feel like celebrating every time you master your winged eyeliner!
Makeup purchases are justifiable if you can blog about them, right?
Contouring, Strobing, Tontouring - Name a trend, you have tried it!
When you hit pan, you die inside a little.
At the end of every month, you have a list of beauty products that you want to buy as soon as payday rolls around.
..Then by the end of the weekend your pay check has gone..but its fine because you have lots of new, pretty makeup to play with! Who needs to eat?!
You hoard makeup items that you never use, just because they are too pretty to get rid of.
Every time your makeup turns out good, you must document it by taking at least 30 selfies.
It is limited edition? Well, I have to buy it then.
The bottom of your handbag is where your lipstick stash can be found..along with a handful of receipts from Boots.
You are on a spending ban (That won't last any longer than 24 hours).
You have purchased makeup products purely because of the pretty packaging.
Your Instagram account is filled with pretty and well-placed pictures of beauty products.
When you are having a conversation with someone, you can't help but start thinking about how you would have done their makeup.
You have read through all of these, and you are feeling guilty.

All of these traits are things that I have noticed about myself over the years, and I am happy to be a self-professed beauty addict!
Are you guilty of being a beauty addict? Are there any more signs to look out for?

Thank you all so much for reading. Do not forget to follow me on Bloglovin' to make sure you do not miss out on any future posts, and in that case, I will speak to you soon.

Lots of Love,
