Wapping up all of the lovely Christmas presents that I have bought for my friends and family is one of those monotonous festive tasks that I personally really enjoy spending time doing..Mainly because it gives me the chance to get super arty and creative!
Wondering the isles of Hobbycraft and being surrounded by all of the festive arts and crafts it is pretty hard not to feel inspired to create something special..And a great way to share your creativeness with others at Christmas is through your gift wrapping. Adding something as simple as candy canes, pine cones, cinnamon sticks or even dried holly to the wrapping paper on your presents is the perfect way to finish them off, and these festive toppers and decorations will give your gift wrapping a much more distinct, personal touch.
I know most people find wrapping presents to be one of the most tedious things to do at Christmas, but trust me, you really can have SO much fun doing it. Just get yourself a cup of hot chocolate (or glass of Mulled Wine!), put your favourite Christmas movie on the television or have your Christmas playlist of your most-loved Christmas songs playing in the background and start wrapping away..I do this every single year and it always puts me in the best mood and makes me feel full of festive cheer!

The plain brown craft paper is so affordable and it makes such a lovely base for wrapping, which I then decorated with string, bells, bunting, dried oranges and lots of other festive bits and pieces to create something spectacular to hand out on Christmas morning..I am hoping to hear lots of oooh's and ahh's from everyone when they recieve their presents!
Most of these gift wrap ideas were actually inspired by one of Zoe Sugg's Christmas video's from last year..As we all know she is the queen of creativity! Once I saw her stunning wrapping designs that she shared, I just had to try them out for myself and I am so happy that I did because I was in my absolute element wrapping up all of these gifts and I am thrilled with the finished result..They just look so wonderful together under the tree!
Do you enjoy getting creative with gift wrapping? Have you wrapped all of your Christmas presents up yet?
